Seen Dance Company is a new dance organisation based in Northern Ireland, working across the Island of Ireland. We set out to captivate audiences through movement, with a focus on Irish stories, old and new. Seen will be a platform for young artists, across a range of styles, to share their thoughts and create brave, passionate, and innovative dance for audiences in Ireland and beyond.

A creative weekend for Festival Irish dancers and Contemporary dancers to come together, learn something new and explore a unique movement language.
What to Expect
​
Both days will run from 10:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
We'll kick off each morning with a 1.5-hour contemporary class followed by a 1.5-hour Festival Irish dance class. Don’t worry if you have experience in just one style; the classes will be tailored for everyone, allowing us to develop new skills together.
​
After lunch, Seen's Principal Creative Clara Kerr, will lead a session that creatively combines both dance disciplines. She will guide us in exploring how the two styles could merge through creative tasks, improvisation, and phrase work, encouraging plenty of conversation and questions.
​
Overall, Seen aims to explore a new movement language with contemporary and Festival Irish dance in same space.
