Caillte
Caillte (meaning lost or fallen in Irish Gaelic) is a contemporary dance show that tells the story of one girl and her admittance to a Mother and Baby Home in 1940s Ireland.
Choreographed and directed by Clara Kerr, the piece involves elements of spoken word, live music and Irish dance, telling the powerful story of a journey tens of thousands of women in Ireland endured during the 20th century.
Caillte originally premiered at The Bombed Out Church Liverpool and then went on to be performed as part of The Liverpool Irish Festival.
